Esta G. Kaplan, age 90, of Chicago IL, passed away Monday night, April 3, in Mineral Point, WI. Esta was the youngest daughter of the late Harry and Lucile (Crains) Goldberg. Esta was a warm, creative and graceful person who attended South Shore High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University, in Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Irving Kaplan; loving mother of Lucy Kaplan, Sue Kaplan-Brunett, Jacqueline (Bertil) Persson, Sander (Theresa Pelletier) Kaplan and aunt of Terry (Cheryl) Nicola; cherished grandmother of Eli, Zeph, Tara, Josefine and great-grandmother of three; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Graveside service Friday, 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
